Physical Therapy focuses on rebuilding strength and endurance after an illness or surgery. Physical Therapy includes specialized instruction and care related to hip and knee joint replacements as well as general exercises to build strength, balance, and endurance.

Occupational Therapy focuses on regaining independence with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and eating. Occupational Therapy is particularly helpful with recovery after a stroke or injury of the arm or hand.

Speech Therapy focuses on improvement of speech and treatment of swallowing disorders. Our Speech Therapists also offer VitalStim therapy which is particularly helpful in treating patients after a stroke or other neurological problem.

Registered and Licensed Nurses focus on overall management of the patient's medical needs, including educating the patient and/or caregiver regarding medications, diet, and healthy lifestyles. The Registered Nurse works closely with the patient's physician and keeps him/her informed of the patient's progress.

Our board-certified social workers assist patients by assessing and evaluating community resources.

Certified home health aides help patients with activities of daily living including bathing and grooming. Aides work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Therapists.

Home Safety Evaluations are provided by TheraCare Home Health upon admission. TheraCare Home Health will perform a home safety evaluation to determine how safe the home is in reference to lighting, steps/stairs, bathroom, and many other areas. TheraCare Home Health will then suggest any changes that would be beneficial.

At TheraCare Home Health, our staff is available to conduct on-site intake evaluations for your client. We can also visit the patient's home to ensure a safe environment.
